Examining Cult Culture on WUNC

Today I was a guest featured on WUNC, The State of Things, a radio show on North Carolina Public Radio.

If you’d like to hear the conversation, go here.

Host Frank Stasio examines public perception of new religious movements with James Tabor, chair of the Department of Religious Studies at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte; Sean McCloud, an associate professor of religious studies and American studies affiliate at UNC-Charlotte; Benjamin Zeller, an assistant professor of religious studies at Brevard College; and Lisa Kerr, founder of the Web site www.mycultlife.com.

  1. Lisa you presented yourself and your experience extremely well. Thank you for taking the bold stance that you have both in facing the events that happened in your life and sharing them with the public. Knowledge is power. Jesus would have us speak the Truth in Love, I believe you have done this.

  2. Lisa, thank you for speaking for those who cannot yet speak out for themselves. Jesus would have us speak the Truth in love and you spoke openly, clearly of your experience in love.
