Cult & Abusive Church List

The following are destructive groups or churches I have specific experience with:

  • Assembly of God (Pentacostal Denomination)
  • Phoenix First Assembly of God
  • Master’s Commission International Network
  • Master’s Commission USA (formerly Master’s Commission Phoenix)
  • Master’s Commission of Austin (which has gone through several name changes: Master’s Commission Industries, Master’s Commission 3D, was Elevate 3D; now Summit School of Leadership)
  • Our Savior’s Church (Network of churches and church plants based in Lafayette, Louisiana. Founded by Jacob Aranza of Aranza Outreach Ministries)

The following ministries or groups or people are associated directly with the ministries above and on my cult watch list. I have some experience dealing with these ministries, in association with my employment at some of the aforementioned groups/churches:

Through blogging, here are some groups that have been reported to me that I’ve checked out or some I’ve read about:

IFB (Independent Fundamental Baptist)
Quiverfull
Teen Mania (Ron Luce)
Mercy Ministries
Bethel Church in Redding, California (Pastor  Bill Johnson)
Trumpet of God

This list is by no means complete. If you’d like to add to it, though, please email me at mycultlife AT gmail DOT com.
Another site to check out is Steven Hassan’s Freedom of Mind, where you can report a group here: http://freedomofmind.com/Info/form.php
Rick Ross has information here: http://www.rickross.com/sg_alpha.html

i wonder if you can list DH’s cult on one of these lists or not? also, would you be able to list the cult he grew up under in the patriarch section?

can you email me more about it with the name of the group, the key leaders, etc? mycultlife at gmail dot com

Actually… TBN has evolved into more of a “Mafia” now. Same cult issues, but more RICO statute in organization.

You know, it’s not ironic that we used to always refer to Master’s Commission as the Mafia. Master’s Commission is closely tied into TBN and I was even in the audience on a Mario Murillo TBN show once with Master’s Commission.

Dino Rizzo runs his own “Healing Place School of Ministry,” which is run almost exactly like MC.  I think it might be even worse, because Healing Place Church is not accountable to any denomination or other churches.  They are affiliated with the Association of Related Churches(ARC).  Suprise, suprise, Rizzo is one of the founders of ARC, so no one questions him there either.

I was an intern at Healing Place School of Ministry, and after four years I am finally recovering.  Even as I type this I am almost in tears due to the pain and confusion this “ministry” caused.  It is very hard for me to speak out against them.
